Gorkha entrepreneurs invite PM Dahal to Gorkha Mahotsav



KATHMANDU: The Gorkha Chamber of Commerce and Industry has extended an invitation to Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal “Prachanda” for attending the 11th Gorkha Mahotsav.

A team of Gorkha Chamber of Commerce and Industry met the PM today at the latter’s residence to extend the invitation for his participation as the chief guest.

On the occasion, PM Dahal said that the government is scheduled to take the vote of confidence on January 10 and added he would attend the event as far as possible.

The 11th Gorkha Mahotsav and Province-Level Agriculture, Tourism and Industrial Trade Fair is taking place for 10 days beginning January 11 on the occasion of the 301st Prithvi Jayanti and National Unity Day.

Chairperson of Gorkha Chamber of Commerce and Industry Krishna Kumar Shrestha, outgoing chair Jivan Jyoti Shrestha, senior vice-chairman Bhagwan Babu Maskey and general secretary Prakash Chandra Shrestha met with the PM to extend the invitation.

Former Prime Minister Dr Baburam Bhattarai also accompanied the team of Gorkha Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

Prime Minister Dahal was elected the member of House of Representatives from Gorkha constituency no. 2 in the November 20 general elections.
