Home Minister calls meeting of 77 CDOs, security chiefs



KATHMANDU: Deputy Prime Minister and Home Minister Rabi Lamichhane has called a joint meeting of all 77 chief district officers (CDOs) and district security chiefs.

According to the Home Minister’s Secretariat, the “virtual” meeting will be held at 9 am today.

Chief Secretary of Home Minister Lamichhane Deepak Bohora said that Chief District Officers of all 77 districts as well as Chiefs of Nepal Army, Nepal Police, Armed Police Force and National Investigation Department will participate in the meeting.

According to him, issues such as inconvenience faced by ordinary citizens to get government services, peace and security, market monitoring and corruption will be discussed.
