Dr. Koirala demands policy convention of NC

BIRATNAGAR: Central member of Nepali Congress (NC), Dr. Shekhar Koirala, has demanded that the policy session should be convened without delay.

Speaking in the seminar on ‘Changed Politics, Challenges and Need for National and Reconciliation’ organized by the BP Thought Rastriya Samaj Province No. 1 Committee in Biratnagar on Sunday, the General Secretaries should take initiations to organized policy convention rather than issuing press statement demanding it.

Dr. Koirala emphasized that the Nepali people cannot live without democracy, so NC should always be ready to protect and preserve it.

He urged the leaders to sensitize youths on nationalism, socialism, democracy and the contributions of leaders like BP Koirala, and Ganeshman Singh.
