Adhikari elected UML PP leader in Gandaki Province



POKHARA: Khagaraj Adhikari has been elected the leader of the CPN-UML Gandaki Province Parliamentary Party (PP).

Adhikari was elected the Gandaki Province Assembly Member from Kaski-1 (1) in the provincial assembly elections taken place on November 20.

A meeting of the UML’s lawmakers held on Sunday in Pokhara chose Adhikari unopposed.

Of the total 60-member province assembly, 22 province assembly members are from the UML in Gandaki Province Assembly.

With his election as the PP leader, Adhikari is an aspiring chief minister of Gandaki Province.
