NC’s Gurung still leading in Syangja-2



SYANGJA: Nepali Congress (NC) leader Dhanraj Gurung has maintained his lead in Syangja Constituency-2.

As of Thursday afternoon, Gurung garnered 6,065 votes, while CPN-UML’s Padma Kumari Aryal got 4,765 votes.

Tikraj Gurung of Rastriya Swatantra Party got 1,575 votes so far.

The counting of votes was halted here for 12 days after the UML-UML demanded a re-voting saying the poll was rigged.
