Maoist Center’s Devendra Poudel elected from Baglung-2



BAGLUNG: Leader of Maoist Center Devendra Poudel has been elected as a member of the House of Representatives from Baglung Constituency-2.

Poudel was elected for the second consecutive time by defeating Manju Sharma Chalise of CPN-UML by a margin of 4,599 votes.

Poudel, who was elected MP in 2074 BS, garnered 24,779 votes this time.

His closest contender, Chalise secured 20,180 votes.
