Vote Count: NC leading in 49 constituencies; UML 42



KATHMANDU:  Counting of votes is underway throughout the country.

In the initial vote count of the election held on Sunday, Nepali Congress (NC) has taken the lead followed by CPN-UML so far.

Till now, NC has won in four constituencies and the UML in two constituencies.

NC is leading in 49 election constituencies followed by UML, which is leading in 42 constituencies.

Likewise, Maoist Center is in the third position with 15 leads.

The Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) is leading in 12 constituencies.

The Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP) and Unified Socialist are leading in 7 constituencies each so far.
