NC’s Gagan Thapa emerges victorious from Kathmandu-4



KATHMANDU: Nepali Congress (NC) leader Gagan Thapa has been elected a member of the House of Representatives from Kathmandu Constituency-4.

Thapa defeated his closest contender CPN-UML’s Rajan Bhattarai.

Thapa garnered 21,393 votes while Bhattarai garnered 13837 votes.

As many as 31 candidates had contested the election from Kathmandu Constituency-4.
