KATHMANDU: Nepali Congress has maintained an early lead in the counting of votes in Kathmandu Constituency-5.

Nepali Congress (NC) candidate Pradeep Paudel is leading with 25 votes.

CPN-UML’s Ishwor Pokharel, who is also the senior vice chairman of CPN-UML, is following him with 18 votes.

Similarly, Ram Prasad Upreti of Rastriya Prajatantra Party, and Pranay Shamsher Rana of Rastriya Swatantra Party got 11 votes each.
