Three persons die in jeep accident in Kalikot



KATHMANDU: Three persons died when a jeep heading to Surkhet from Mugu met with an accident in Kalikot on Tuesday.

The accident took place at Khallagad in Tilagufa-5, Kalikot.

Seven people were injured when the jeep bearing number VE 1 CHA 4412, which was en route Surkhet from Mugu, met with an accident on the Karnali highway this afternoon.

Kalikot Police Office said 21-year-old Akkal Bishwakarma, 21-year-old Ramesh Budha and 25-year-old Sudarshan Sejuwal of Gamgadhi, Mugu, died in the accident.

According to police, there were 10 passengers in the jeep.

One person died on the spot and two died during treatment at the Karnali Institute of Health Sciences.

Police said that the injured were being treated at the Karnali Institute of Health Sciences in Jumla.
