UML Chair Oli warns of misfortune if UML fails to garner single majority

KATHMANDU: CPN-UML Chairman KP Oli has warned that the country would undergo disaster if CPN-UML did not garner a majority in the November 20 election.

Oli claimed that the country needs CPN-UML as the only national political force.

“If UML failed to establish itself as a national force after the elections, the country would undergo a misfortune,” he said.

Addressing a program in Kathmandu on Wednesday, Oli said that the country is in a state of disrepair after the UML government was overthrown through the manmadus.

“The court betrayed UML. Since that day, the court has been in a state of disrepair,” he added.

Oli also criticized the ruling coalition for alleging UML a regressive force.

“Those who are regressive are calling us regressive. It’s a shame,” he added.
