NC leader Koirala falls sick



KATHMANDU: Nepali Congress leader Dr Sashank Koirala has fallen ill in the course of election publicity on Sunday.

He has been admitted to the Old Medical College in Chitwan.

Leader Koirala, a candidate from constituency no 1 of Nawalparasi Purba, suffered dizziness while he was taking part at a program organized at Amarapuri.

Resident director of the hospital, Dr Manohar Pradhan, informed that there was a short supply of blood in Koirala’s brain. It is called TIA in medical terms.

Other examinations were also going on, so there was no need to panic much, Dr Pradhan added.

Leader Koirala is receiving treatment at observation ward of the hospital now.
