Nepal Army tops list with 185 medals in ongoing 9th National Games



KATHMANDU: Nepal Army (NA)’s departmental team has continued widening its win with 185 medals in the ongoing 9th National Games.

The NA has so far clinched 185 medals, including 88 gold, 58 silver and 39 bronze in the National Games.

Departmental team of the Nepal Police received 108 medals with 37 gold, 31 silver and 40 bronze medals.

Likewise, another departmental team of the Armed Police Force secured a total of 120 medals with 31 gold, 34 silver and 55 bronze medals.

In the national games, Bagmati province has so far won a total of 74 medals including 15 gold, 28 silver and 31 bronze.

Likewise, Gandaki province has so far obtained 61 medals with 16 gold, 15 silver and 30 bronze.

Similarly, as of now, Sudurpaschim province has secured 32 medals with eight gold, four silver and 20 bronze; the NRNA got 18 medals with seven gold; Madhes province secured 29 medals with five gold and province 1 won 51 medals with three gold.

Lumbini province has so far secured 37 medals with three gold and Karnali province got ten medals with a gold, the National Sports Council shared. Other sports event under the National Games are underway.
