Out of 139 gold medals declared, NA tops tally with 61 gold



POKHARA: Under the ninth edition of the National Games undergoing in Gandaki province, the departmental team of Nepal Army is still at the top with 128 medals including 61 gold till the fourth day.

So far, the Army team has won 61 gold, 39 silver and 28 bronze medals, and has made a wide lead at the top.

Another departmental team, Nepal Armed Police Force (APF) Club, is in the second position after winning a total of 65 medals including 23 gold, 17 silver and 25 bronze.

Similarly, another departmental team of Nepal Police, is in the third position with a total of 74 medals, including 16 gold, 25 silver and 33 bronze medals.

Bagmati province, which is ranked fourth, has won 596 medals including 14 gold, 22 silver and 23 bronze.

Similarly, the domestic team of Gandaki province has won a total of 38 medals, including 10 gold, 8 silver and 20 bronze, and is in fifth place.

The Non-Resident Nepali Association (NRNA) has won 6 gold, 6 silver and 4 bronze medals with a total of 16 medals.

On the fourth day, after adding 2 golds, Province 1 rose to the seventh position and won a total of 32 medals including 3 gold, 8 silver and 21 bronze.

Likewise, Madhesh province has won a total of 12 medals including 2 gold, 3 silver and 7 bronze.

Sudurpaschim province is in the ninth position after winning a total of 14 medals including 2 gold, 1 silver and 11 bronze.

Lumbini province and Karnali province won 1 gold medal each. Lumbini province won a total of 22 medals including 1 gold, 9 silver and 12 bronze while Karnali province won a total of 4 medals including 1 gold, 1 silver and 2 bronze.
