Ruling alliance to conduct joint cadres meet in all provinces



KATHMANDU: The ruling alliance has decided to organize joint cadres meetings in all seven provinces as part of the campaigning for the November 20 elections of the House of Representatives and Province Assembly.

The ruling parties’ meeting has decided to form election mobilization coordination committee and conduct of joint meeting of cadres in each province.

In the central level, the ruling alliance functions under the leadership of senior leader of NC, Ramchandra Poudel.

The election coordination committees will be formed even in the provincial and district levels having active leaders of the ruling parties.

Similarly, a four-member draft committee has been formed to prepare an appeal to create people’s mandate in favour of the ruling coalition’s electoral alliance.

The committee will have Dr Prakash Sharan Mahat of Nepali Congress, Hitman Shakya of CPN (Maoist Centre), Pramesh Hamal of CPN (Unified Socialist) and Himlal Puri of Rastriya Janamorcha. Rastriya Janamorcha leader Durga Poudel informed that Gandaki Province and Lumbini Province will have the joint cadres’ meeting in Pokhara and in Butwal respectively on October 21.

Similarly, on October 22, Province 1 and Madhes Province will have the joint cadres meeting in Biratnagar and Janakpur respectively.

On October 23, Sudurpaschim Province (Dhangadhi), and Karnali Province (Surkhet) will have the joint cadre’s meeting.

The Bagmati Province will have similar meeting in Kathmandu on October 24. The joint cadres’ meeting will be addressed by chief leaders of the ruling parties.

The meeting has set the slogan ‘Alliance for Protection of Constitution, Stability and Prosperity’.
