NEPSE loses 27.16 points to close at 1,871.22 on Monday



KATHMANDU: The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) index has lost 27.16 points to close at 1,871.22 points on Monday.

Likewise, the Sensitive Index fell by 5.36 points to settle at 366.84 points today (Monday).

A total of 3,155,695 units of shares of 233 companies traded via 17,876 transactions, resulting in a turnover of Rs 971 million throughout trading hours today.

All sub-indices, except Mutual Funds, closed red in the market.

Aviyan Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited was the top gainer for the day, with share price going up at near circuit level of 9.99 percent, and Himalayan Everest Insurance Limited (Promoter) was the top loser, shedding 10 percent of its price.

Shares of Himalayan Everest Insurance Limited (Promoter) also traded the most and had the highest turnover in the secondary market today.
