Vijaya Dashami celebrated today

The 10th day of the Bada Dashain, Vijaya Dashami, was celebrated with great enthusiasm by receiving ‘tika’ and blessings from elders, across the country, today.

According to the Nepal Calendar Determination Committee, the auspicious hour for receiving tika was 11:51 am.

Tika was received throughout the day on Wednesday, and people can receive tika and jamara till the full moon day from their elders.

EC making voters well informed

The Election Commission said it would publish the name list of candidates for the November 20 elections on October 11.

Likewise, the EC has fixed October 12 for withdrawal of the candidacy.

Similarly, the publication of the final name list of candidates and the distribution of election symbols would occur the same day.
