NEPSE loses 13.54 points to settle at 1,912.74 on Monday



KATHMANDU: The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) index lost 13.54 points to close at 1,912.74 points on Monday.

The index lost 0.70 percent today (Monday). The index had lost 11.47 points on Sunday.

Similarly, the sensitive index fell 2.39 points to close at 372.34 points.

The index that opened at 1,926.45 points made an intraday high of 1,928.71, an intraday low of 1,906.75 and ultimately closed at 1,912.74 points.

A total of 2,613,540 shares of 225 companies were traded via 20,558 transactions, resulting in a turnover of Rs 831 million in the secondary market today.

Meanwhile, the highest gainer of the day was United IDI Mardi RB Hydropower Limited whose share prices went up by 4.17 percent in the index today.

Likewise, Nepal Investment Debenture 2082 lost the highest 9.58 percent today.

Nabil Bank Limited registered the highest turnover of Rs 40 million while it was also the top stock by No. of Transactions, recording 746 trade transactions.

Only one sector closed green, “Mutual fund” gained 0.12 percent while “Others” lost the highest 1.7 percent.
