Two girls found dead in paddy field in Janakpur



JANAKPURDHAM: Two girls were found dead in a paddy field at Nagarain Municipality-7 in Dhanusha district.

The deceased have been identified as Puja Mahara, 18, of the municipality-7 and Aarati Kumari Mahara, 19, who was from Madhubani district, India, and was living in the same village, according to the district police office.

The incident came to light after the local people spotted the bodies of the girls in the paddy field and reported it to the police.

The bodies were brought to the Provincial Hospital, Janakpurdham for a postmortem, said Deputy Superintendent of Police Pradip Bahadur Chhetri.
