Maoist Chair Prachanda’s Surkhet visit postponed



KATHMANDU: CPN Maoist Center Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’, who was to leave for Surkhet today, will not be able to make it to Surkhet as his plans have been postponed.

Prachanda was to address the party’s provincial-level training program in Surkhet being organized by Maoist’s Karnali Province Committee .

However, other Maoist leaders, including Maoist Deputy Secretary Shakti Bahadur Basnet and Finance Minister Janardhan Sharma will be attending the program in Surkhet.

Similarly, Finance Minister Janardan Sharma is also scheduled to inaugurate the provincial office of the Beema Samiti in Surkhet and later join the party’s program.

Local leaders and cadres from all 10 districts of Karnali Province will attend the party program.
