Ruling coalition holding meeting on seat-sharing



KATHMANDU: Leaders of the five-party ruling coalition are holding a meeting on the sharing of seats for the upcoming House of Representatives and Provincial Assembly elections to be held on November 20.

The meeting of the senior leaders of the coalition held at the Prime Minister’s Residence, Baluwatar on Wednesday held intensive discussion on the matter but ended inconclusively.

Although there was serious discussion about the distribution of seats in the meeting of the top leaders of the alliance no conclusion could be reached, said Secretary of the Rastriya Janamorcha party, Him Lal Puri.

Regular discussions are being held in meetings with top leaders to reach an agreement on the matter.
