CIAA files case against land surveyor Yadav

KATHMANDU: The Commission for Investigation of Abuse of Authority (CIAA) today filed a case against Upendra Prasad Yadav, a land surveyor at the Land Survey Office in Lagankhel.

Likewise, the CIAA has also filed a case against its Rajan Bista, office assistant, on the charges of seeking bribe.

In a statement, the anti-graft body said they were caught after they demanded Rs 30,000 as a bribe from a service seeker while transferring the land.

Likewise, the CIAA said it found that Yadav used to receive bribe through Bista.
