KATHMANDU: A report of the Agriculture, Cooperatives and Natural Resources in regard with the ‘Bill relating to Animal Health and Livestock Services Council’ was presented in Friday’s meeting of the House of Representatives (HoR).

Committee President Purna Kumari Subedi presented the report before the HoR meeting.

While tabling the document, Subedi said 13 lawmakers of nine clusters submitted 39 amendment proposals over 24 clauses, including the preliminary of the Bill. She added the report was prepared unanimously following the nine rounds of the meeting with in the Committee.

Besides, a task force was formed to hold required discussions over the Bill.

Similarly, Minister of State at the Office of Prime Minister and Council of Ministers, Umesh Shrestha, presented the 59th annual report of the Auditor General, 2079 BS in the meeting. The document was tabled on behalf of Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba.

Deputy Speaker Pushpa Bhusal Gautam read out a letter received from the Office of the President about the authentication of the Bill to establish the Madan Bhandari University of Science and Technology.

The Bill that was endorsed by the lower house on August 3 was certified by the President.
