Shree Airlines aircraft en route to Kathmandu returns to Nepalgunj after engine snag



KATHMANDU: An aircraft of Shree Airlines that left for Kathmandu from Nepalgunj on Thursday returned to Nepalgunj again after experiencing an engine problem.

Shortly after taking off from Nepalgunj to Kathmandu, the aircraft of Shree Airlines returned to Nepalgunj due to an engine problem.

According to the Nepalgunj office of Shree Airlines, the plane took off at 9:49 this morning with 79 passengers and 4 crew members and returned to Nepalgunj five minutes after take-off.

All passengers on board have been evacuated safely and the aircraft is now parked.

Technicians are investigating the issue.
