NEPSE goes down by 6.71 points Wednesday



KATHMANDU: Nepal Stock Exchange index declined by 6.71 points to 2186.77 on Wednesday, the fourth trading day of the week.

The sensitive index, which measures the turnover of large and powerful companies, also decreased by 0.64 points and stopped at 420.49 points today.

A total of 9,542, 607 shares of 218 companies were bought and sold, amounting to Rs 4.299 billion. Compared to Tuesday, the transaction amount increased today. The shares worth Rs 3.29 billion were traded on Tuesday.

Out of the 13 sub-groups listed in NEPSE, only 4 sub-groups’ share prices increased, while the remaining 9 sub-groups’ share prices decreased today.
