HoR sends ‘Nepal Special Service Bill’ for clause-wise deliberations



KATHMANDU: The House of Representatives (HoR) has decided to send the ‘ Nepal Special Service Bill, 2076 BS’ to the respective committee for clause-wise deliberations.

A session of the Lower House on Friday unanimously entertained the proposal to send the Bill to the committee.

Minister of State at the Office of Prime Minister and Council of Ministers, Umesh Shrestha’ tabled the proposal seeking the meeting’s consent to forward the Bill originated in the National Assembly for clause-wise deliberations. He tabled the document on behalf of Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba.

In the meeting, HoR secretary Gopalnath Yogi read out the message about the endorsement of the ‘National Citizenship ( first amendment) Bill, 2079 BS’ by the National Assembly without amendment. The Bill was originated in the lower house.

Likewise, the ‘ Bill relating to Oath, 2078 BS’ originated in the National Assembly was tabled in the HoR meeting along with message received from the NA in regard with it.
