Nepal to observe 2023-2033 as “Visit Nepal Decade”

KATHMANDU: The government is set to declare the years 2023-2033 as Visit Nepal Decade.

The Ministry of Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation announced this on Sunday while announcing the Tourism Revival Action Plan.

The Ministry said it would make such an announcement within the next three months.

The Ministry is also going to run the ‘One Nepali One Foreign Friend Send Nepal Campaign’ under the leadership of the Non-Resident Nepali Association.

The Ministry has also announced that the ‘hop on hop off city bus’ will be put into operation in Kathmandu within the next three months.

The ministry announced that unused airports will be put to an alternative use.

The ministry has also informed that the night heritage tour will be conducted in Kathmandu, Patan, Bhaktapur and Kirtipur within the next two years to initiate and promote night tourism within the Kathmandu Valley.
