NRB revises 4/12 cap policy



KATHMANDU: Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) has amended its highly controversial 4/12 cap policy through the monetary policy of the current fiscal year 2022/23.

The central bank, revising its policy, has allowed investors to take loan against stock up to Rs 120 million from one bank.

Previously, NRB had allowed maximum of Rs 40 million from one bank and Rs 120 million from multiple banks.
