NRB makes moderate changes in mortgage loans



KATHMANDU: Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) has made general changes in share mortgage loans.

NRB Governor Mahaprasad Adhikari has made general revisions to the controversial 4/12 policy through the monetary policy of the Fiscal Year 2022/23

Revising its policy, NRB allowed investors to take loan against stock up to Rs. 120 million from one bank.

Previously, the bank had allowed maximum of Rs 40 million from one bank, while Rs 120 million from multiple banks.
