Nepal, UAE sign new labor agreement

KATHMANDU: Nepal and United Arab Emirates (UAE) have signed a new Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on labor between the two countries.

Minister for Labor, Employment and Social Security Gokarna Bista and Minister for Human Resources of UAE Nasser Thani signed the deal  during his visit to Geneva on the occasion of General Assembly of International Labor Organization (ILO).

With the singing of the new MoU, the previous one will be invalid. Nepal had singed a labor agreement with UAE in 2007.
