KATHMANDU: The Ministry of Communication and Information Technology has released the official list of 10 candidates for the post of chairman of the Film Development Board.
The ministry issued a notification on Monday and brought out the list of candidates including Bhuwan KC.
It was speculated that actor KC’s application might be rejected in the film industry as age and qualification could become obstacles.
While informing that the candidate’s application has been accepted, the Ministry also mentions the information that the date, time, and place of the interview will be set after the presentation of the professional action plan of the selected candidate.
According to the Ministry, Arun Kumar Pradhan of Sunsari, Deepak Shrestha of Kathmandu, Naresh Kumar Paudyal of Lalitpur, Nirmalraj Dhakal of Kathmandu, Bhuwan KC, Manish Pandit, Yakkan Upreti Rauniar, Sushil Kumar Pokharel and Sushma Karki are candidates.
