NC CWC meeting likely to conclude today



KATHMANDU: The Nepali Congress (NC) Central Committee meeting which started last Monday will continue today as well.

The meeting to be held at 3 pm at the party office in Sanepa is likely to conclude today itself, a party leader said.

He added that the office bearers’ meeting held yesterday has completed the homework to announce the decisions of the meeting today itself.

Almost all central members spoke during the meeting.

This time, party President Sher Bahadur Deuba underwent criticism from the party’s central members for his alleged failure to deliver as the country’s Prime Minister.

Voices of dissent were heard during the meeting.

Party General Secretaries, including Gagan Thapa and Bishwo Prakash Sharma, in particular, expressed their displeasure about the working style of NC President Deuba and for isolating the discontented faction in running the party.

The central members also challenged the party leadership by putting a question mark over its working style and urged Deuba to improve his working style and the way the government is functioning.
