Nepal slips four spots in FIFA rankings

KATHMANDU: Nepal has slipped four positions to be ranked 165th with 995 points in the latest FIFA rankings unveiled on Friday.

As per the previous rankings of the international football governing body, Nepal was placed in 161st position.

India (101st), the Maldives (151st), Nepal (165th), Bangladesh (183rd), Bhutan (186th), Sri Lanka (201st) and Pakistan (205th) have been ranked first, second, third, fourth, fifth, sixth and seventh in South Asia respectively.

Belgium continues to dominate FIFA rankings with the first position. France and Brazil have been placed second and third respectively.
