NEPSE loses 16.60 points to close at 2,027.32 on Thursday



KATHMANDU: The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) index lost 16.60 points and closed at 2,027.32 on Thursday.

This stock market lost 0.81 percent today against gain of 13.33 points yesterday.

Opened at 2051.50, the index made an intraday high of 2,080.96, intraday day low of 2,023.01 and ultimately settled at 2,027.32 points.

A total of 4,711,025 shares of 229 companies traded via 31,276 transactions, amounting in daily turnover of Rs. 1.806 billion. Yesterday’s turnover stood at Rs. 2.178 billion.

Life Insurance Corporation Nepal and Arun Kabeli Power Limited were two stocks registering highest turnover today.

All sub-indices closed red at the end of trading hour, except for Mutual Funds.

RBB Mutual Fund 1 was the top gainer today with its price rising by the highest 3.93 percent.
