Secretariat meet of CPN-Unified Socialist underway

KATHMANDU: A Secretariat meeting of the CPN-Unified Socialist (CPN-US) is being held at a hotel in Kanthipath, Kathmandu, today (Monday).

Deputy Secretary General Jagannath Khatiwada said the meeting was dwelling on the latest political developments.

The agenda of the secretariat meet are reshuffle of Chief Minister of Bagmati Province and electoral alliance, among others.

The Nepali Congress (NC) is urging the CPN-US to make space for NC Chief Minister now as per the agreement struck between the two parties earlier.

Currently, CPN-US’ Rajendra Pandey is Bagmati Chief Minister.

However, the CPN-US has said the issue of changing Chief Minister should be resolved by the coalition at the center.
