Madhes Province Assembly begins deliberations on budget from today

JANAKPUR: The Madhes Province Assembly was to start deliberations on the budget for the fiscal year 2022/23 from today, Monday.

The provincial legislature is meeting at 1 pm today for this purpose, said Ranjit Kumar Yadav, secretary at the Province Assembly Secretariat.

The Madhes province government had presented a budget of Rs 46 billion before the Province Assembly on June 15.

Province government’s Finance Minister Shailendra Prasad Saha had presented the budget statement.
