Police nab two for smuggling body parts of bear



KATHMANDU: The police have made public two persons arrested with body parts of a bear amid a press conference here today.

A team from the Central Investigation Bureau attrested one Hari Om Rasaili of Panini Rural Municipality-2 in Argakhanchi district and Bhajindra Darji of Butwal Sub Metropolitan City-3 in Rupandehi district from Gokaneshwor Municipality-5 in Kathmandu for smuggling and selling body parts of a bear.

Bear is protected animal in Nepal.

Both of the arrestees were sent to the Division Forest Office, Hattisar for investigations, said Superintendent of Police Shyam Kumar Mahato, also spokesperson for the Bureau.
