Ranju Darshana to contest from Kathmandu Constituency-5



KATHMANDU: Ranju Darshana is preparing to contest the upcoming House of Representatives election from Kathmandu Constituency No. 5.

Darshana has announced she will be contesting from Kathmandu Constituency No. 5 in the upcoming federal election.

“I would like to inform all that I will be contesting from Kathmandu Constituency No. 5 for the post of Member of the House of Representatives in the coming election,” she has said.

Darshana, who left the Bibeksheel Sajha Party, is preparing to contest the election as an independent candidate.

Darshana, who had contested the local elections in 2074 BS as a Mayor, had lost to Bidya Sundar Shakya of the CPN-UML.

She had garnered 23 thousand 439 votes.
