Mets forecast rainfall throughout the country

Kathmandu witnessing rainfall since early morning



KATHMANDU: The Department of Hydrology and Meteorology has said that the weather will be generally cloudy with chances of rainfall in most parts of the country.

Light to moderate rainfall accompanied by thunder, lightning and gusty winds is forecast at some places in the hilly region due to the impact of the three weather systems.

Meanwhile, Kathmandu is witnessing rainfall since early morning.

The weather will be partly to generally cloudy in Province no 1 and in Madhes, Bagmati and Gandaki provinces while it will be partly cloudy to generally fair in the remaining provinces tonight.

There is the possibility of rainfall along with thunder, lightning and gusty winds at a few places in Province no 1 and Madhesh, Bagmati and Gandaki provinces at night.

The Department has forecast light to moderate rainfall accompanied by thunder, and lightning at some places of Province no 1 and Madhesh, Bagmati and Gandaki provinces, and at a few places in the rest of the country on Saturday.
