Unified Socialist CC meeting starts, four ministers absent



KATHMANDU: The Central Committee meeting of the CPN-Unified Socialists has started at Karki Banquet in Babarmahal, Kathmandu.

According to Unified Socialist sources, the meeting started at 12:30 pm.

However, the four ministers representing the party Minister for Health and Population Birodh Khatiwada, Minister for Urban Development Ram Kumari Jhankri, Minister for Labor, Employment and Social Security Krishna Kumar Shrestha and Minister for Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation Prem Ale are absent.

They are dissatisfied after the Unified Socialist secretariat meeting decided to withdraw from the government.
