KATHMANDU: The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE), which has been declining in recent times, rose by double digits on Tuesday.
The stock market index NEPSE increased by 37.49 points today and reached 1,922.30 points.
Shares of all groups have risen and the market went green.
Similarly, 37.12 million shares of 231 companies have been traded at a value of Rs 1.23 billion. Nepal Telecom turned out to be the company to have the highest number of share transactions today. Nepal Telecom had the shares worth Rs. 115.9 million transactioned.
Shares of Andhikhola and CYC microfinance have risen the most by 10 percent today. Shares of Tehrathum Power Company fell nearly two percent.
