Nepal sees 28 new coronavirus cases in past 24 hours



KATHMANDU: Nepal recorded a total of 28 new cases of coronavirus in the past 24 hours as of Monday.

Out of the confirmed cases, 20 were detected through the RT-PCR method and eight through the Antigen method.

According to the Ministry of Health and Population, a total of 3,914 swab samples were tested in the past 24 hours. Of them, 1,862 samples were tested through RT-PCR and 2052 through the Antigen method.

Currently, there are 120 active cases in the country as 10 infected patients recovered in the past 24 hours.

No person died due to coronavirus in the past 24 hours. The COVID-19 death toll in the country stands at 11,952 to date.
