Madhes govt introduces Rs 46.88 billion budget for FY 2022/23



JANAKPURDHAM: The Madhes province government has made public the budget of Rs 46.88 billion for the coming fiscal year 2022/23.

On Wednesday, Finance Minister Shailendra Prasad Sah unveiled a budget of Rs 46.88 billion for the coming fiscal year.

Out of that,  Rs 21.77 billion or 46.21 percent has been allocated for the current expenses and Rs 25.82 or 53.21 percent. Similarly, Rs. 162.456 million, or 0.35 percent has been allocated under the financial management section.

In the current fiscal year, the budget of the province government is around Rs. 34 billion.
