RPP Chair Lingden demands electoral government

KATHMANDU: The Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP) has demanded the formation of an independent electoral government.

Speaking at a meeting of the House of Representatives on Wednesday, RPP Chairman Rajendra Lingden demanded the immediate formation of an independent electoral government to make the forthcoming Provincial Assembly and House of Representatives elections free, fair, and free of rigging.

Arguing that the government has not been able to retain national dignity, the RPP Chair proposed the formation of an independent government.

He added that only an independent government can ensure a free and fair election.
