Maoist leader Shrestha hold talks with UML Chair Oli

KATHMANDU: CPN-UML Chairperson KP Sharma Oli and Maoist Center’s central leader Narayan Kaji Shrestha have discussed a possible alliance among the Left political parties.

Shrestha reached Oli’s residence in Balkot on Sunday evening to meet him, sources have said.

According to a source, the two leaders discussed the country’s nationality, overall political situation, and Left movement in the meeting that lasted for about two and a half hours.

“There has been an unprecedented crisis of nationality. We discussed various issues, including the Left alliance,” a leader quoted Shrestha as saying.
