Civil Aviation Minister Ale lays foundation stone for arrival terminal building at TIA

KATHMANDU: Minister for Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation Prem Bahadur Ale today laid the foundation stone for an arrival terminal building at the Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA) (domestic sector) amid an event.

A temporary building will be constructed in view of the increasing flow of passengers, said the airport authorities, said the TIA General Manager Prem Nath Thakur.

Constructed by the Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal (CAAN), the project costs Rs 50 million with a one-year completion deadline.

Bright Multi Construction has been awarded the contract to build 41 meters long and 24 meters wide terminal building.
