7 districts of Sudurpaschim remain out of communication service



BAITADI: Seven mountainous districts of Sudurpaschim Province, including Baitadi have remained out of communication services.

Nepal Telecom Baitadi Chief Bikram Tamata shared mobile, telephone and internet services have remained disrupted due to glitches in optical fiber along Attariya-Dadeldhura pathway.

He further informed that Baitadi, Darchula, Dadeldhura, Bajhang, Doti, Achham and Bajura have been out of telecommunication services.

The telecom service that went out of gear since 2.00 pm Tuesday has not yet come to operation. Information Officer at District Administration Office, Baitadi, Khagendra Bharati shared that service delivery has been affected with the disruption of mobile, telephone and internet services.

“In absence of internet, we could not provide administrative services such as collection of details for national identity card and distribution of citizenship certificates”, he further shared.
