Alliance will continue, Madhav Nepal says



KATHMANDU: CPN (Unified Socialist) Chairperson Madhav Kumar Nepal has said the five-party ruling alliance will continue until the upcoming federal and province assembly elections.

Chair Nepal talked to the media at Rajbiraj Airport on Tuesday upon reaching there to pay tribute to party’s late leader Ram Narayan Chaudhary.

This alliance should be maintained until the federal and province assembly elections, he said, adding “discussions are ongoing regarding the candidates representing the alliance”.

Nepal shared that the issue of candidates’ management would be settled through discussions.

On the occasion, Chairperson Nepal stated that his party’s ministers in the current government would be replaced soon.
