Two injured as gas explodes in petrol pump



KATHMANDU: Two persons have been injured when a petrol pump exploded at Teku Sunday afternoon.

According to Dinesh Mainali, Superintendent of Police (SP) and Spokesperson at Metropolitan Police Range, Teku, the accident occurred at Kanak Pump and the injured are undergoing treatment at the National Trauma Center.

The accident took place while welding the cover of the fuel store tank as the gas inside the tank exploded suddenly.
