Armed police team rescues a person from Saptakoshi River

RAJBIRAJ: A team of the Armed Police Force rescued a man who stepped into the Saptakoshi River.

Superintendant of Police (SP) Pradeep Khadka informed that the team rescued Budhundra Prasad Limbu, 41, of Kamal Rural Municipality-5 in Jhapa who jumped into the river at Hanumannagar Kankalini Rural Municipality-1 in Saptari.

The team led by head constable Uddhav Prasad Chalagain from Armed Police Force, Nepal Security Base Bhardaha, had rescued Limbu with the help of locals.

Limbu was sent to his home, police said.
